Project Overview: Shallowings into the goblin lands sometimes appear in the strangest of places: here and now, aspects of Jareth’s Labyrinth are leaking into a gamer bar. Fun and games at first, the Goblin King can’t help himself but to keep turning the dial from whimsy to cruelty. You may not have been physically taken to the Labyrinth, but the challenges you’ll face will be echoes with consequences no less real. Before the clock strikes thirteen, you’ll need to work together to stop playing Jareth’s game and eject him from this world, or all the stolen things you love will become his forever…
And realizing he has no power over you is SO thirty years ago. No, the secret of his motivations are all new, divined from puzzles and tests throughout the evening.

Our annual Halloween Beer Dinner/charity benefit/interactive Live Action Role Play event is focussed this time on the cult hit The Labyrinth starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.
Our story picks up 20 years after the movie (in our universe, a film adaption of Sarah’s hit Broadway show based on her own experiences) and after Sarah’s mysterious disappearance. The fun and games are based on the original story until the bar is thrust into the faerie land itself and must solve puzzles and gain clues to escape.
Toby is now in his 20s. The requirements of the performance will be interacting with dinner guests in character and guiding their game play. There will also be several scenes to be acted out with other performers.
